Sreejit Bhattacharya is an accomplished music director, lyricist, and musical scholar whose work bridges the rich traditions of Indian music with global musical influences. His journey reflects a rare blend of Western musical exploration and deep-rooted devotion to Indian classical and folk traditions.
Driven by an endless passion for learning, Sreejit has travelled extensively across India, collaborating with renowned musicians, legendary vocalists, Bauls, and Fakirs to understand the true essence of musical expression. His compositions and teachings are shaped by these experiences, creating a unique learning environment where tradition meets innovation. Beyond music production, he has also directed music for theatrical productions. for his artistic depth and creative vision.
Our Story
Since 2005
Srijit Bhattacharyya has received intensive training under various legendary maestros of the Agra and Rampur-Seniya gharanas of Indian classical music. Consequently, the lessons in our classes are primarily designed based on the rich traditions of these two prestigious schools. In a nurturing and serene environment, our students continue to practice and preserve the authentic heritage of Indian classical music following the principles of these gharanas.
In addition to vocal music, Sreejit Bhattacharyya has undergone formal training in Guitar, Tabla, and Harmonium under several renowned maestros. As a result, our curriculum integrates highly creative and experimental lessons, focusing closely on harmonium accompaniment and the intricate nuances of rhythm (taal).
Our classes are conducted in both one-on-one and group classes format.
